About the Course
This course is designed for students who want to develop better textual proficiency in Talmud. We will concentrate on techniques for parsing the Talmud text and constructing and analyzing the logical flow of the sugya. Each week will feature a different sugya from that week's daf yomi, which we will use to focus on one or two particular skills. Studying daf yomi is not required, though students should have strong Hebrew language skills and some prior experience studying Talmud.
